Directors Deals have no full or part-time posts available
at present but are seeking a student to join us for short periods. All posts are based at
our offices in Much Hadham, Hertfordshire so candidates must either be local
or prepared to relocate. Our office is only accessible by car
Undergraduate or Graduate Internship
We are seeking an intern to join us for a short period during the Easter 2005 and
another for the summer of 2005.
Career Development Prospects
Inquisitive candidates would glean a
keen understanding of the UK equity market as well as an understanding
of the role of Financial Institutions.
The opportunity to
research quoted companies and stock exchange listings would give a
valuable insight into the processes involved in the equity market and an
understanding of the terminology used.
Anyone planning to
follow a City career on graduation would find this opportunity valuable.
Skills
required
Candidates will require excellent PC skills and must
be competent with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programmes.
Responsibilities
Researching and updating data on the
following: Director names, Titles salary, bonuses, options and so on. Data
will be input onto our database using proprietary tools.
Data is sourced from online news items,
Corporate and other websites, Annual Reports and so on.
Carrying out ad-hoc analysis on our data and other
development projects as required
Salary
Although
the role is primarily to help students get an insight into the Financial
markets with a view to a future career, the work is on-the-job learning
rather than a structured internship programme. Thus the successful
student will be treated as an employee and paid a daily rate plus
expenses.
